WEAR: Gingham Trousers.

Oh dear, how I adore anything retro preppy-chic. The warmer weather calls for a fresh take on classic prints and these gingham trousers totes fit the bill. I have my eye on these and on some gorg floral wide leg pants (coming soon, in a future WTWNYC post). When the eve gets chilly, top this outy with a tweed blazer, preferably in PINK, and you are def ready for a preppy posh weekend in NYC.

DO:  Easter at Del Posto

Chef Mark Ladner oversees a splurgeworthy Easter brunch at this haute-Italian temple. The $95 prix-fixe menu (plus $65 for wine pairings) offers three options for each course, including classics like lasagne al ragù bolognese and tartufo al caffé with dark chocolate and candied lemon. Live jazz by the Lonnie Solaway Trio adds to the upscale atmosphere. 85 Tenth Ave. via timeoutny.com

SEE: “You’ve Got Hate Mail”

Last week, Midtown Chap & I were invited to see the off broadway play, “You’ve Got Hate Mail” (YGHM), written by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore. Let me just say, it was one of the MOST entertaining plays I have ever seen. Based on email exchanges between a cheating husband, his stepford wife, a corporate co-worker, hilar bestie & a home-wrecking side dish, YGHM is filled with witty dialogue, excellent comedic timing and a storyline that is fit for it’s own reality show.

Be sure to watch the clip below:

YGHM is performed at the Triad Theater at 158 West 72nd Street. Get your tix ($30-$35) here.

Have a fabulush Easter weekend my dahlings!
