When the weather gets warm, it’s time for an outdoor brunch. The Pitch and Fork (1606 1st Ave, b/w 83rd & 84th) is a gastropub located on the UES specializing in New American cuisine. Offering hand-crafted specialty cocktails, delish brunch fare and an unlimited brunch cocktail menu (an MG fav), you can dine inside, outside or in their garden area. Check out the brunch MG had at The Pitch and Fork below…
This weekend Nicole & I had brunch at Pera Soho. The downtown addition of Midtown’s Pera Mediterranean Brasserie, Pera Soho is located at 54 Thompson Street (next to the Thompson Street Hotel). Pero Soho features modern decor with a chic outdoor lounge (perfect for spring brunches) and offers a contemporary Mediterranean menu. Their brunch menu (see details below) offers a prix-fixe option and an unlimited cocktails option. Check out what MG had at Pero Soho…
People often ask me where to go in NYC for brunch since there are so many options out there. For those of you looking for a spot in Midtown East, Lasagna restaurant is a great spot for a bottomless brunch. Known for their wide variety of pasta dishes, Lasagna offers a super affordable prix fixe brunch for $12.95 with the option to go bottomless for another $9 (until 4pm). Such a good deal in Midtown! Check what we had below…
Midtown West has been revamping it’s foodie scene for the past few years, giving New Yorkers some great options for brunch. One of my fav places on the west side is Pier 9 Restaurant, located at 54th st. & 9th Ave. With seafood and American Nouveau dishes, their brunch menu is both affordable and delish. Best part? Their $20 bottomless drink special! Check out what we dined on below…
Known for their Le Grand Brunch on Saturdays & Sundays, Brasserie Beaumarchais is one of my fav places for a weekend brunch. Located in the heart of the Meatpacking District at 409 West 13th St., not only is this my go to spot for an MG Birthday Brunch, it’s an ideal spot for Date Night. Both the restaurant & crowd are gorg, so be sure to wear something fabulush. Prices start at $11 and up for apps/shared plates and entrees from $15 and up. Cocktails range from $15 – $20 depending on your vice, (I recommend trying out one of their signature cocktails & then moving onto your regular drink of choice). Dahlings, check what we had for brunch below…
If Sex & The City was still on the air, the show would have definitely filmed a scene at Barbounia. Featured on my Best Restaurants in NYC for a Girl’s Night Out, Barbounia is my go to place for cocktails with my besties. I had no idea they had a fabulush brunch option until this weekend! Located on Park Ave South & 20th street, their brunch menu features Mediterranean classics & American fare with a twist and at prices starting at $8 for apps. Of course the best (and my fav) part is the bottomless champagne option! For $18 you can enjoy champagne or mimosas until 4pm (when brunch offish ends). If you finish your meal and decide you want to stay a bit longer, you can take your glass to the bar for further bottomless enjoyment. Lovelies, check out what we had for brunch at Barbounia below…
Weekend brunch is one of my fav things to do in NYC. In Midtown, many restaurants offer a great deal for brunch (espesh if you don’t feel like splurging on a 3 course dinner). Sunday I tried out Docks Oyster Bar (located on the corner of 4oth St & 3rd Ave), a restaurant I have been to many times for dinner, but never for brunch. They often post specials on their windows, so I decided to check out their brunch menu online. Their prices & selection were perf! A brunch cocktail, coffee & entree is $17 and you have the option to go “bottomless” for $24. You totes know which option MG chose, right? Check out what we had below…
