Miranda: “Why do I think living in Manhattan is so fantastic?”
Carrie: ”Because it is.”
Manhattan kissies,
One of the teen designers & her fierce creation
Located in the heart of Midtown, the NYPL hosted it’s annual Anti-Prom event along with a teen fashion show. The Anti-Prom is an event which provides an alternative, safe space for all teens who may not feel welcome at official school proms or dances because of their sexual orientation, the way they dress, or for any other reason.
This New Year’s weekend was pretty…FABULUSH!
GB & I attended Jessica’s super fun party downtown…
The next day we worked thru our hangovers with a stroll thru Midtown East & diner fare…
Yay x 100!
My adorbs bf & fam totes made this Xmas an uber Midtown Chic one. Check out the gifts this lucky Midtown Girl received on a beautiful Christmas Day…
Clockwise: Michael Kors Very Hollywood Perfume & Studded Arm Gloves, Tom Ford Champaca Absolute (from my awesome parents), Paul Lebreque Gift Card for a Spa Day & Veuve Clicquot (from my fabulush bf)
Sooo…
Sometimes I wonder why I’m so lucky to have such a fabulush life. But then I think, don’t good people deserve good things (just like all of you dahlings)? So, I’ll just stick with that reason for now -
Anywho, this weekend was spent with GB. We attended a downtown hip party for Rawthentix, loving filled with hair gurus, village artsy types & glam-kids. It was the first event that I had invited GB to since I never invite bf’s or dates to my events b/c, well, it’s usually better to keep personal & biz lives separate. Right? Right. Plus, I never talk about MG to my dates since I never how know how long we’ll be dating for, so why discuss my brand & biz if we are together momentarily?
You dolls know that I’m a born & raised NYC girl but, what I want to share with you are the amaze peeps I’ve met that aren’t originally from here & have fam based in other states/countries, etc. When you live in Manhattan it’s interesting bc you would never think – even though the city is as fabulush & big as it is – that it’s truly a small world. I run into chicks I went to high school/college with who are visiting, working here, whatevz.
But when I meet peeps who aren’t from here but came here to make a name for themselves, it’s different story.
