   LOL, so true!

   I haven't dated in a couple years; I'm happily taken BUT I can tell you that I never used to wear heels on first dates. I'm 5'7" and it's so hard to find an eligible tall guy in Honolulu!

   ah on my first date with scott i wore my marc jacobs mocassins. my message was "i'm too smart. just try to outsmart me." he did. with a pair of brown wallabees, the kind only professors wear. le sigh.

   On my first date with the hubs I wore cork wedges. Promise they were cute. Ah ha. We went to a comedy show and Gameworks afterward. Ahhhhhhh, memories.

    I have these cute Guess flats that I got at none other than DSW
    They're cute and kind of dressy because of the gold adornments. They're practical, just in case I need to sprint away from the date (a strategy I learned from a wise friend, lol)
