You know something’s uber-POPULAR when they start mocking about it in commercials

And when you add character representation using SHOES?!

Well then, that’s just pure Marketing Genius.

The MadMen who came up with DSW’s new ‘shoe-dating commercials KNOW their shiz when it comes to online-dating

Because THIS totally does happen!

Online-Profile Misrepresentation…a.k.a B.S.!

Btw…what shoes do YOU dahlings wear on a first date?

  1. LOL, so true!

I haven't dated in a couple years; I'm happily taken ๐Ÿ™‚ BUT I can tell you that I never used to wear heels on first dates. I'm 5'7" and it's so hard to find an eligible tall guy in Honolulu!

  2. ah on my first date with scott i wore my marc jacobs mocassins. my message was "i'm too smart. just try to outsmart me." he did. with a pair of brown wallabees, the kind only professors wear. le sigh.

  3. On my first date with the hubs I wore cork wedges. Promise they were cute. Ah ha. We went to a comedy show and Gameworks afterward. Ahhhhhhh, memories.

  4. That was funny, and very typical of a blind date type scenario!

I am such a fashion guru that I wear whatever is closest to the door! lol

  5. That was a very well done commercial! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for sharing. I re-posted it on my site and linked back to you

  6. i love that ad. date shoes? it's been a REAL long time since i've been on a date. i have no idea what i'd wear.

sorry i couldn't come into the city and meet up with you guys this weekend.

  7. I have these cute Guess flats that I got at none other than DSW ๐Ÿ™‚
They're cute and kind of dressy because of the gold adornments. They're practical, just in case I need to sprint away from the date (a strategy I learned from a wise friend, lol)
