I think it depends on what sort of date it's going to be.
On my first date with the hubs I wore cork wedges. Promise they were cute. Ah ha. We went to a comedy show and Gameworks afterward. Ahhhhhhh, memories.
That was funny, and very typical of a blind date type scenario!

They're cute and kind of dressy because of the gold adornments. They're practical, just in case I need to sprint away from the date (a strategy I learned from a wise friend, lol)
