Yay for the East Side! This year, the 38th annual Macy’s July 4th fireworks will be displayed over the East River (starting at 9pm, this Friday). - FDR Drive. Entry points are at Montgomery and South Streets, Brooklyn Bridge entry from St. James Place and Wagner Place, and Broad St. and Old Slip at Water Street.
- The Elevated Acre. This spot is located at 55 Water Street, take the escalator up to the rooftop garden for a fabulush view of the Brooklyn Bridge.
- South Street Seaport. The Seaport will feature fun activities throughout the day & live performances at Pier 17. Enter at Fulton St. and South Streets.
- Brooklyn Bridge Park & Brooklyn Bridge Promenade. For the park, use the main entrances at Old Fulton and Furman Streets or Atlantic Avenue and Furman Street. For the promenade, enter at Columbia Heights and Pineapple St., Montague and Pierrepont Streets.
