Madison Avenue is so Midtown Girl fabulush. The Oscar Blandi salon on Madison Ave in Midtown Manhattan is a posh salon catering to a super chic clientele. The salon is stunning (seriously, I felt like I was on a movie set). I scheduled my appointment during the late afternoon, mid-week (like I always do) with Holly for my color and Myron for my cut.
Since MG wedding is around the corner, I explained to Holly how I was a bit nervous because whatever she does to my hair now will be forever remembered in my wedding photos. Having recently been married, she totally understood and told me she was a perfectionist with her color.
I absolutely loved her response and felt completely comfortable in her hands….
Since I always wait too long between root touch ups, I needed a single process before the highlights. Holly was super careful with her timing and color mix and gave me a warm base. I know my hair better than anyone and can tell when a color is correct even with wet hair.
My base looked beautiful.
Holly then did her magic by giving me warm highlights that work perfectly with my complexion. After color was completed, I had a trim & blowout with Myron. “You won the long hair contest” he tells me as I’m reminded of how much I need a trim. He was careful to trim enough of my locks to give it back its much missed natural bounce.
He was quick & efficient, which I so appreciate.
Both Holly & Myron made my visit to Oscar Blandi a fabulush one. With MG wedding a few weeks away, they made sure my hair looked amaze x 100, which made me feel even more excited for my special day.
I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.
