Socialista New York’s “A Celebration Of Bob Marley’s Fashion Legacy” Event
Last week, Socialista New York held another fabulush event, “A Celebration of Bob Marley’s Fashion Legacy”. In collaboration with Bond Influence & Magnolia Pictures, the event was a celebration of the release of MARLEY, the documentary based on Bob Marley’s life, career, music, family & fashion.
Last night was uber fabulush as I attended Macy’s Fashion Star Premier Party in Midtown with darling Fashion Herald. NBC’s new reality competition series “Fashion Star,” searches for the next big brand in fashion. Featuring host and executive producer Elle Macpherson along with celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos, the series will give 14 unknown designers the chance to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their collections in three of America’s largest retailers: Macy’s, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue.

This week I held my 2nd Socialista New York event at Kibo restaurant in Gramercy. Sponsored by OpenSky, the theme of the eve was “New York Style Sessions“…and it was FABULUSH x 100!
As our Social Media Fashionistas enjoyed custom hors d’oeuvres & Socialista cocktails prepared by Kibo, they had a table full of gorgeous accessories to pick from chosen by OpenSky’s curators for their NY Style Session shoot.
Oh Em Gee! This week I hosted my 1st Socialista NY Blogger event at the amaze UGG Australia Terrace in Midtown. I wore a Midtown Girl Magenta open sleeve dress from ASOS & my Louboutin Very Croise Platform. My beautiful fashion blogger dolls joined me for an evening of custom “Dirty Socialista” cocktails, mani/pedis & delish hor d’heauves. It truly was uber FABULUSH! I adore this blush colored dress from ASOS. With long slit sleeves & French cuffs, it offers just enough arm cleave for a breezy rooftop party in Midtown. It came with a matching belt, but I chose to add a black jeweled one instead to cinch the waist perfectly. With a vintage clutch & nude platform pumps, this is my dream rooftop outy…
