One year, MG family decided to have Thanksgiving dinner in a Midtown restaurant. And, it was one of our best holiday dinners ever. Whether mom needs a break from holiday cooking, visiting aunts & uncles want a taste of NYC or it’s just what the fam prefers, a Thanksgiving dinner out can be just as heartwarming as a dinner at home. Remember, it’s about the company, not the location. Here are MG’s picks for the best restaurants in NYC for Thanksgiving dinner 2013…

MIDTOWN

Delmonico’s Kitchen (American) – Thanksgiving  menu is $65/pp & $19.95 for kids. Seating from 1pm-7pm

Felidia (Italian) – Thanksgiving menu features family style dishes at $99/pp.

Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro & Wine Bar (French) – 3 Course menu for $68/pp. Kids 12 and under 3 courses for $32.

Trattoria Dell’Arte (Italian) – Traditional turkey feast, $60/pp 3-course menu.


Nougatine at Jean Georges (French) – Open from 12:00pm-10:30pm, $98 4-course Thanksgiving menu

GRAMERCY

Maialino (Italian) – Italian-American Thanksgiving menu and Maialino Classics ($92/pp). Kids Menu ($55). From 12pm–6pm.

FLATIRON


ilili (Mediterranean) – 4 Course Prix Fixe menu $52.  Open from 2pm to 9pm.

CHELSEA

Jeanne & Gaston (French) – 3 course Thanksgiving menu for $40/pp 

EAST VILLAGE

DBGB (French) – 3 course Thanksgiving Menu for $55/pp.

‘ La Cerveceria  (Peruvian) – 3 course menu & open bar for 2 hrs -$55pp.

WEST VILLAGE

Philip Marie (American) – Thanksgiving Dinner menu for $39.95/pp.

The Lion (American)  – Thanksgiving menu, $85/pp, open from noon until 9pm. 

SOHO

Novecento New York (Argentinean) – Thanksgiving menu, 4 courses &  glass of wine $39/pp.
