Dear Midtown Girl,

I’m working on getting my body back in shape after letting myself go during the winter months. I’m not far from my goal weight, so I want to start dating again. What kind of date clothing would be flattering while I’m losing weight? Since the weather is warmer, I can’t cover up in jackets/blazers anymore. What would look cute for a spring date?

Yay for fitness! I’m working on #SkinnyMG as well, so I totes know what you are going through. Since warm weather means your clothing options are lighter & brighter, it’s best to choose an outfit that flatters what your current shape. As you probs know, a dress is my fav first date outfit.

This Love Tulip dress, paired with a pretty pink heel & mint clutch, is the perf option for a Spring first date. Why? Read on…

  • It has a wrap-front which flatters the waistline & camouflages anything you don’t want your date to notice waist down.
  • The v-neckline is elongating and also super flattering.
  • With it’s cut-away shoulders, you’ll show off just enough beautiful skin without feeling over exposed. This is also a great option for those of us who are sleeve fans (like MG).
