Dahlings, I was honored x 100 to be the Fashion Stylist to Diet Coke’s “Show Your Heart” contest winner! Super cool Adrian of snappylifestyle.com won the contest with his artistic photos (be sure to check out his site, lots of great international street style pics featured). Since Adrian’s personal style is influenced by retro looks, I took Adrian shopping in Manhattan at one of the largest vintage clothing stores in the East Coast – Cheap Jack’s.
After browsing through their amaze selection of denim, military & leather jackets, Adrian set his eyes on 2 hats from the 60′s & 70′s eras that totes fit his style. We had such a fabulush time shopping in NYC, check out what we bought in the vid above!
My lovelies, please let me know your thoughts on my NYC shopping vid, I would love to know!!!
Fashion Stylist kissies,
“I Love Beauty. It’s Not My Fault.” Valentino
This week, Tanqueray Gin sponsored a fabulush event with 1stdibs.com at the New York Design Center in Midtown. While sipping on signature Tanqueray cocktails, we viewed 5 gorgeous Valentino vintage couture gowns and celebrated photographs from Italian Cinema in the 1960s taken by the famed Life magazine photographer, John Philips. Check the stunning pieces below my dahlings…
For this post, I wore one of my abs fav pieces - a vintage 60′s persimmon -colored shift dress with bamboo accents. J’adore…
I was one lucky girl this week to have my locks done by amaze hair guru Paul Labrecque. Not only was Paul one of the sweetest dolls I have ever met, he was uber-efficient & on point with my hair color. At his East Side salon on 65th street, Paul looked at my hair and without hesitation, got to work on a single process to my locks. Afterwards, darling Ivan did a perfect double layer cut to give my hair volume without losing length - totes the signature MG look!

I’m in LAH-HUVS!!
~~~~And speaking of vintage & jewelry~~~~
The collections were amazing from vintage Chanel chains/bags/coats to Hermes to Gaultier to vintage furs/stoles/capes to you name it – they had it.
Of course the first thing that caught my eye was a phenomenal black tuxedo coat…Chanel of course! And it would have been mine, if I only had $1299 to dish out – of which I did NOT!
Note – I would have taken so many more pics – but the point & shoot action was not adored by many of the vendors, unfortunately ;-( Dammit.
AND…I missed out on a pic of the 6ft tall, platinum-blond Tranny trying on some vintage Versace – damn, damn, damn!
Jean Paul Gaultier
