This winter has been awful for my skin & nails. After putting on bb cream & powder, my face still flakes. I want that glowy look (not shiny) so I can feel good when I’m out on a date. Date Night Hair: Highlights at Midoma Salon in NYC

Every 3 months or so I get a root touch up & partial highlights done in a luscious shade of caramel. Seriously, hair should always be date night ready, right?! Last week I had the opp to get partial highlights done at Midoma Salon in Midtown West, located at 545 8th ave. The salon is airy & bright with various NYC artists’ beautiful artwork displayed on the walls. My colorist was Sarah, who gave me a consultation before getting to work on my locks. She was super efficient, gave me the shade I requested & was very friendly. Afterwards I had my hair blown out by Michael, fabulush owner of the salon (who also gave me great tips for my upcoming trip to Europe). With every treatment or color service, blowouts are given at a 30% reduced rate. Totes a good deal for gorgeous date night hair!

Date Night Makeup: Unforgettable Moments Nail Polish In Lilac Love

A few weeks ago, my mom & I made a trip to the mall for some quality mother/daughter time. After having lunch (mall cobb salads are delish p.s.), mom noticed a Payless storefront featuring ‘Unforgettable Moments’, their designer collab with Lela Rose. In the beauty section, the collection had a nail polish in one of my fav shades – lilac. Anytime I see a polish in a lilac/lavender/pinkish shade, I have to get it. It’s a fabulush date night polish shade for summer & the price…$3. Pretty and affordable??? I’m totes in.
