If you love home decor as much as MG, then this will be fun. I randomly found this Ethan Allen* quiz during one of my 2am online shopping rituals and thought it was uber cute (and actually tapped into my design aesthetic). Super easy, you click on one of two pics shown through a series and at the end, you’ll find out your “signature design style”.

My fav way to organize a home office is with chic desk accessories. I use gift boxes to organize the inside of my desk drawers and to store beauty products. Since I like to display my fav beauty items & go-to accessories like statement bracelets & rings, I wanted something that was pretty, affordable & easy to change according to my decor mood. I found these Hollywood Glam gift boxes at my local 99 cents store. Yes, the 99 cents store (retail stores charge up to $10 for boxes like these, so I’m glad I got 2). They were a dollar each, look fabulush and when I get tired of the style (doubt it) I can change it as often as I wish.

If you follow MG & my tweets, you’ll know how obsessed I’ve been about finding the perfect statement mirror for my apt. After changing my room decor 2 years ago, I had been on the search for an ornate gilt mirror that would match my decor mix of the French provincial & Hollywood regency styles. I searched for over a year on ebay, craigslist, vintage stores (online & offline) & etsy. I even searched on craigslist furniture lists from other cities.

Yes, I was that obsessed.

Holiday dinner parties are one of my fav events to host. Even though my apt is tiny x 100, I love decorating for the occasion and making the evening special for my guests. Easter is a holiday that holds a lot of memories for me growing up, from spending time with family & friends to sharing a delish meal & desserts. Since Easter is a holiday full of gorg pastels, it’s easy to liven up your dinner party decor for the occasion. Check out some ideas I found on Etsy that will totes bring inspiration to your Easter table…

One of my fav ways to decorate is with picture frames. Currently I’m searching for gold colored, ornate frames to complete my office wall, but if I find a fabulush frame worth hanging, I usually get it. Decorating with empty picture frames is super easy, just remove the glass, hammer in a nail (or stud if the frame is heavy) and you’re done! My fav places to buy affordable & colorful picture frames is at home decor stores & Etsy. Etsy is great because they have many shops that sell multiple empty frames, so all you have to to is hang & enjoy!

Five years ago I traded shades of nude, cream & beige for pops of turquoise, buttercream & pink. I fully embraced the idea of colorful home decor and couldn’t be happier. But, if you’re someone who is a bit shy of color, this decor post is perfect for you! The easiest way to update your space for the Spring season is with colorful home accessories. Espesh for those folks whose apt is filled with neutral shades, adding color with home accessories is totes the way to go.
