Developed by nightlife entrepreneur Rande Gerber, this expansive lounge is on the fourth floor of Time Warner Center. Once inside, the lights are low, yet the energy remains as the noise of the after-work crowd bounces off marble floors and glass walls. A sweeping view of Central Park and Broadway are an impressive design element in this lounge reminiscent of a great hotel.
Date Spot: Bistro Bagatelle
You’ve probably walked by Bistro Bagatelle while lounge hopping or boutique shopping in the meatpacking district. It’s that place with the DJ spun hit music pumping inside that you can literally feel as you pass by it’s understated front.

Date Night Spot: Rooftop Bar – Top of the Strand
Top of the Strand is the rooftop bar/lounge located at the Strand Hotel on West 37th Street. With design influence from set designer Lydia Marks (of Sex and the City), the gorgeousness of this retractable glass-roofed lounge is only amplified with stunning views of Midtown Manhattan. The crowd is a mix of the after work sophisticate set along with chic Midtown residents (like MG, of course).
