Dr. James Cho of Bellevue Hospital is collecting donations of phone chargers and used smartphones for patients hospitalized at Bellevue. Dr. Cho says “one of the most difficult aspects of this disease is being alone while sick in the hospital. Many patients arrive to the Emergency Room without their phone charger. Hospital staff are charging phones when we can so patients can keep in touch with family, but the infection risk is not insignificant.”

-> Donations will be collected via a bag located at the service entrance of The Carlton Regency, 137 East 36th Street, NE corner of Lexington Avenue (service entrance is on the plaza level 36th Street side).

-> Donation drop off times are daily from 8am-8pm.
