The nearly 60-year-old rink, situated in the middle of Central Park, sure is a beauty. The iconic pond features the largest skating surface of any midtown rink; at 30,800 square feet, there’s plenty of room to glide around. source – newyork.timeout.com

  1. I really miss central park altogether. Wollman rink is wonderful in the winter, but I don’t think people around the country really understand how huge central park is and what a great place it is in and of itself.
