Fabulush Event: Socialista NY’s “New York Style Sessions” w. OpenSky

Dec 9th 2011 4 Comments

This week I held my 2nd Socialista New York event at Kibo restaurant in Gramercy. Sponsored by OpenSky, the theme of the eve was “New York Style Sessions“…and it was FABULUSH x 100!

As our Social Media Fashionistas enjoyed custom hors d’oeuvres & Socialista cocktails prepared by Kibo, they had a table full of gorgeous accessories to pick from chosen by OpenSky’s curators for their NY Style Session shoot.

“Roll Like A Socialista” Lobster Sushi

After picking out their fav pieces, the Socialistas had the opp to choose from 10 different NYC Street Style backgrounds for their photo shoot.

As each Socialista  put on their best pose in front of a green screen, our photographer Brian Murray shot & edited each of their fabulush style pics for them to take home & enjoy.

OpenSky, a social shopping site where you can shop for exclusive sales on products endorsed by celebrities and experts, was a perfect fit for our fashion bloggers & style influencers. Their accessories are an enviable set of curated pieces chosen by style experts.

In addition to the accessory selection, Shopafrolic founders Liz Lange and Jane Wagman were there to talk about OpenSky and the social shopping experience. As one of their curators, Shopafrolic finds the best women’s fashion & beauty items available across the web & shares these finds with you via their site.

Thank you to OpenSky for making this Socialista NY event a night full of fabulousness and to all the Social Media Fashionistas who attended. Everyone looked gorgeous!

Dahlings, please be sure to join Socialista New York and partake in our NYC fashion fun <3
