Valentine’s Day is one of my fav holidays even when I was single. It’s about spending moments with your loved ones, whether it’s family, besties or in my case, Midtown Chap. I love dressing for the occasion in my date night favs, a pretty dress & heels. Since it’s winter, I paired this Midtown Chic blush Asos dress (also worn here) with my Dolce & Gabbana OTK grey suede boots. I absolutely love these boots bc they are comfy and uber chic.

Everyone looks chic on Park Avenue. From crested blazers to cape coats to chocolate boots, there is so much fabulush fashion here. It’s absolutely one of my fav avenues in New York City. And, this classic Burberry trench is one of my fav coats of all time. I wore it as a topper to my preppy anchor blouse and Suki skinny jeans. MG Outfit: Bebe Trench Coat , Folli Follie Satchel, Tahari Andy Boots

A statement coat is a must when traveling. It makes any outfit look polished and pulled together while still offering warmth in mid-season weather. I loved the style of the Bebe coat so much, I bought it in both tan & winter white. A wool trench with leather piping, details & belt, it’s so chic and goes with almost everything in my wardy. I wore this on our beauty excursion to the Musée du Louvre, one of the world’s largest museums and a historic monument in Paris.

MG Style: 5th Avenue Chic In Skirted Trench, Tan Riding Boots & Date Night Hair

Last week I made a trip to Bendel’s on 5th to make a few last minute purchases for my trip to Paris. On my list was their international adapter with carrying case for my laptop, camera & cell phone (deets will be in my “From New York To Paris” travel essentials post, coming tomorrow). Bendel’s has a super cute selection of branded accessories, with my fave being the girl with super fabulush date night hair.

MG Style: New York Fall Classics – Cape Coat, Gucci Boots & Lady Bag

A few years ago, I made a trip to Gucci on 5th Ave in search of a new pair of boots. Every time I go designer shoe shopping, I’m like a deer in headlights trying to figure out which fabulush new shoe I should buy versus which fabulush shoe would be a worthy investment.

While in the store, a mother & daughter were trying on boots. The mother tried on the boots I am wearing above & the daughter tried on the flat heel version. The daughter wasn’t sure if she should get them, but the mother said, “Darling, you can never go wrong with a classic boot in a classic style.” She was right x 100.
