I love a good pattern. Unfortch, painting them on my apt walls in not an option for me. Since I’m a renter, I want to use decor that can easily be easily updated, changed or enhanced without much labor. Fretwork is a an interlaced decorative design that usually has a geometric pattern. A great way to add fretwork to your apartment decor, is by using pre-made wood panels like the one above from Fretwork Designs. You can paint them any color you want (I love a pretty minty-turquoise with gold flecks). Another way to add fretwork is with decor accessories, like these fretwork lamps I have on my desk.
