What To Wear, See & Do This Weekend In NYC

May 18th 2012 0 Comments

WEAR: A Flirty Swing Dress.

I love the movement of this sleeveless swing dress. Paired with or without a belt, the cut is perf for a GNO brunch and flirty enough for date night. I would totes add a pair of platform sandals and some fabulush jewelry to make this a gorg weekend outy.
SEE: New Taste of the Upper West Side
Break bread with the Upper West Side’s culinary talents at this yearly fest. The festivities conclude with Saturday’s Best of the West gala celebration, where you can nibble seasonal dishes from 40 big-name toques such as Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Daniel Boulud and Landmarc’s Marc Murphy ($125); proceeds benefit a number of charitable organizations. via timeoutny.com

Where: Sat, 5/19 – Columbus Ave between 76th and 77th Sts.

DO: Big Gay Ice Cream Disco Party

To close out the weekend, Doug Quint and Bryan Petroff—the duo behind the much-loved Big Gay Ice Cream Truck—have put together a psychedelic shindig worthy of Saturday Night Fever. The DJs from food radio program Snacky Tunes will be spinning from atop the rainbow-plastered truck, while you and some party-starting drag queens boogie on the dance floor. via timeoutny.com

Where: Pagoda Stage, 7–8pm

Have a fabulush weekend my dahlings!
