gDine: For Your Next Girl’s Night Out

Apr 18th 2012 0 Comments

Planning a girl’s night out in NYC can be challenging bc everyone’s sched is crazy busy. Enter gDine, a new online reservation site that describes itself as a “combination of Opentable meets Expedia meets Evite”. The site is set up so that you can easily choose from one of their partnered restaurants to plan a group meal at a discounted price.

Midtown Chap & I had the opp to try a gDine experience (thanks gDine!) at Midtown restaurant Bobby Van’s Steakhouse. Since the check was already calculated based on their gDine menu (a choice of 1 appetizer, 1 main course & 1 dessert), and gratuity was included (20%), all that was left to pay for were our cocktails (which we didn’t add to the reservation since we didn’t know what we would have). Check out some of the dishes we dined on below…

 Malpeque oysters

Tuna tartare

Grilled pork chop

Tiramisu

Overall, I felt that the dining experience was simplified and convenient. Here’s more about how gDine works-

  • Search, Select, & Pre-Pay: Your reservation is confirmed. You can even use their Split-the-Check™ feature so everyone in the party can pre-pay for their meal on separate credit cards. This is the best feature!
  • Personal Dining Concierge: gDine works with groups of all sizes and offers a complimentary concierge service to help you plan the perfect dining experience.
  • Change of Plans, No Worries: You can cancel your booking up until 4 hours before your reservation time and gDine will give you a full refund. Excellent!
  • Pre-Negotiated “Group Rate”: gDine gives their  members a discreet way to save while helping restaurants fill their tables.

Dahlings, for your next GNO or group dinner, give gDine a try for super easy & efficient dinner rezzies. 😉

kissies,
