Date Outfit: Summer in the City Series Finale – "Stroll on the Highline"
“The High Line was originally constructed in the 1930s, to lift dangerous freight trains off Manhattan’s streets. Section 1 of the High Line is open as a public park, owned by the City of New York and operated under the jurisdiction of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.
It is located on Manhattan’s West Side and runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to 34th Street, between 10th & 11th Avenues. Section 1 of the High Line, which opened to the public on June 9, 2009, runs from Gansevoort Street to 20th Street.“

Be sure to visit the High Line before the weather gets too chilly, either by yourself (bring a book), or on a look-see after a dinner date! Definitely the perfect place to wear this outfit:

I haven't been to the highline yet…we're waiting for a crisp fall day.
It amazes me how close I am and yet there is still so much I don't know about NYC. I'll have to check it out.

I went to a fundraiser for the Highline a few years ago…I need to go see how it turned out now!
The Highline is so cool! I haven't gotten a chance to check it out yet, maybe I'll go next weekend!

I am so sad…I was in the city this weekend and wanted to go over there, but the weather was too depressing. Hopefully I will make it over there in October.
