DAMN! Can you say BACK UP your shiz please! And yes I totally had my SAD MAC moment!!

But instead of a pashmina, I had my shmancy, overpriced neoprene sleeve. Since I have a handbag addiction (i’m serious) AND just as I was thinking of buying a new laptop sleeve, my fav bag site, bagsnob.com (my gf is the sister of one of the founders…text me chickie I miss you), posted this one:

Anywho, besides laptop drama, I had a ton of other maniacal things going on, so as things get back into order I am getting ready to share more stories of love & singledom in the city….

Speaking of stories & sharing – have any of you heard of the blog-turned-book “The Washingtonienne”?

Her former blog title was –

“WASHINGTONIENNE”

“I have a “glamour job” on the Hill. That is, I could not care less about government or politics, but working for a Senator looks good on my resume. And these marble hallways are such great places for meeting boys and showing off my outfits!”

Written by super-hoe Jessica Culter, the Washingtonienne was originally written anonymously and had detailed JC’s secret scandalous life as a lowly paid Washington intern who dated/slept/hookered up with well known politico big-wigs. In the last few posts she mentions how she realized she was sleeping with 6 guys at the time (grah-ross), some even into sicko fetishes. She said there was no way “an intern who makes 20k a yr can survive in this city” which is why she ends up having quite a few sugar daddies (again many of whom had some crazy fetish req’s.!!).

JC took down her blog sometime a go when Wonkette found it & re-posted it on their site. I found their site and was actually able to read a good chunk of it (I wish there was some way blogs could be read from the beginning, without having to scroll back thru pages…blogger figure this one out dammit!!). Let me just say – her blog was SCANDALICIOUS!!!!

I never had a chance to finish it – she had sooo many posts & each one was more scanktastic than the next, so when I recently tried to go back to Wonker – poof, GONE!

Well, it turns out that Washingtonienne (the novel) is being re-worked as network series, executive produced by none other than – SJP!! It should be out this yr, or so Wikipedia says, so you know I’m gonna be watching this one for SURE!

JC’s book is supposed to be “loosely” based on her blog, so I prob wouldn’t read the book – BUT if any of you laptop lovelies finds her old blog posts somewhere – please share!!

  4. Welcome back!!! I have SOO heard of that blog turned book. My best girlfriend's law professor is a guy in that book!!!!! She always told me it was a little weird trying to take him seriously while knowing he likes to wear high heels and be spanked!! too funny!!

    Yes, back in the day I read that blog. It made me feel superior, so I enjoyed it immensely. I had no idea that it had gone off to internet ether heaven (or hell), but it kind of figures.
